Katie's Pumpkin Dump Cake

Katie was so kind as to send me the recipe for her delicious dump cake! Please find it below! While she used pumpkin, she says that "the cool thing about dump cake is you can do just about whatever you want on the bottom part. I've had apple dump cake and pineapple dump cake! YUM!". I can't wait to see what options I can come up with!

3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter/margarine (It doesn't always take this much)

1. Mix eggs, brown sugar, condensed milk, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice in bowl. Pour in baking dish.
2. Sprinkle entire box of yellow cake mix over pumpkin mixture (not mixed with anything). The pumpkin mixture is soupy but the flour should sit on top just fine.
3. Sprinkle pecans on top of cake mix.
4. Place a layer of thinly sliced butter over entire cake. This is what makes the cake mix not powdery once cooked. (Some people melt the butter and pour it but I find it's more even if you layer the butter in slices)
5. Sprinkle cinnamon to taste.
6. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until top is melted and edges are just barely brown.
