Gadsden Service Guild Christmas Party

As the Vice President of the Gadsden Service Guild, one of my "duties" is to host our annual Christmas Party for the members as well as the past presidents. I was of course thrilled because I LOVE to host parties and use all of my Christmas stuff! I was a little nervous so my mom agreed to help me decorate. Honestly, I don't think I would have been able to pull the party off with out my mom! She came on November 18 with all of her Christmas decorations and basically decorated my house with a mixture of her Christmas and mine. She let me borrow serving pieces, extension cords, just about everything I needed! She even came the night before to help me set up. She is a past president of Service Guild so she was invited to the party as well! The best thing about hosting the party was that I had a committee to do the food, so all I had to do was have my house ready and mix up the beverages---people even brought me all of the ingredients!
The party itself was a huge success, if I do say so myself! We had about 10 past presidents and 30 members attend. I loved seeing my house so full of people enjoying themselves! The girls did a great job on the food and the drinks I had chosen turned out really well. All in all it was a wonderful time celebrating our hard work at the rummage sale and our past members too!!
