1. PACK UP MY HOUSE--that's right, we will be moving around the end of this month so everything must be packed. I've started a little bit but I have SO much more to do! I saved all of the boxes that my Christmas gifts that I ordered came in as well as all of the discarded wrapping and tissue paper so I have some supplies. I'm going to try to pack something every single night so it doesn't get too overwhelming.
2. Exercise--this is part of my over all New Year's resolutions but that means it starts this month. Now that I'm back to my regular work schedule it should be easy to plug my work outs right into my day. I hope to run on Monday and Wednesdays, do pilates on Thursdays, and then get in an outdoor run or walk either on Saturday or Sunday.
3. Pick out my colors!!
I have yet to pick a single color for my new house and I have got to get a move on. I want to paint before we move in the furniture and that is NOT that far away! Any suggestions? I don't know where to even start! I also need to pick out granite at least for the basement kitchen and start shopping for furniture. This is really going to be a busy month!
4. Plan Laura's shower
I am so excited to be heading up my friend Laura's baby shower! I've been thinking about it ever since I found out she was pregnant which was MONTHS ago and now it's finally time to put those plans into action! I actually have a pinterest board dedicated to it and you can check it out HERE. I'm doing a pink pram theme--does anyone have any suggestions? It's not until the end of February but that really doesn't give me much time!
5. Prepare the taxes
Ugh what a boring task, but it has to be done. I keep all of the tax stuff in a folder during the year and I usually just have to sort it and total everything for the accountant. That is, I have to do that once I get the instruction packet from the accountant, which sometimes I forget to do. I need to get the packet THIS WEEK so I have everything finished by the end of the month. Hopefully....
What are your goals for this month???
