Considering it’s January I think I will just bullet point this post!
Charlotte completed her first 100 piece puzzle on her own! I was so impressed with her thought process and that she kept working until she finished it.

Charlotte and I had some big girl time at Disney on ice and brought along Mimi and aunt Fran. Mini may have liked it most of all!

C said her favorite part was giving high fives to the skaters. The front row has spoiled us! She also recently told Forrest that Anna fell down twice and she kept going and that’s what you should do!

We had an overnight parents trip to Tuscaloosa to the Alabama LSU game which we kept but the president was there.

I also met the athletic director Greg Byrne

And former auburn coach tommy tuberville who said roll tide to me.

We enjoyed great fall weather and got some sweet pictures at mama and papa b house.

We loved having uncle Tommy here with us! Frances calls him “Tom” and finally warmed up to him by the time he left.

We celebrated papa Harold on Veterans Day!

The girls had school pictures and suffice it to say that Frances was not a fan.

We had a super fun dinner at las brisas and the girls loved coming to our house to play afterwards.

We watched the Mississippi state bama game at the Welches and the kids had a blast! Frances loves her Margaret and “ja wa wa”

School spirit day at school!

Frozen 2 with Momsie!

Autumnal! Dinner beforehand with sweet friends!!

I took the girls to have their pictures made with Santa at gadsden variety. Frances didn’t cry but didn’t smile and Charlotte did great of course. We also saw her bestie Wes.

Afterwards playing at momsies.

The nutcracker was great this year. Charlotte was really into it and says she wants to be the “big sister”. She was precious dancing along with the big girls.

We got our tree the weekend before thanksgiving this year and the girls were so excited!!

They loved decorating it and talking about each ornament.

We had a lovely month as you can see!

October was a super fun month! Both girls were so into Halloween. Charlotte has loved it for years and this year Frances was in on the action. She loved the pump pumps (pumpkins) and the boo (ghost) and her favorite thing was bob the minion inflatable we had in the yard. She is all about “bob” now and has been watching the minions movie.

She has been saying a few more words although her pronunciation is still developing. She doesn’t say many long vowel sounds yet but she can get her point across! She is loving school and always tells me that “ma, ru, gw (which comes out gibberish)” were there.

She has leaned to color without eating crayons and they say she loves sitting in her chair. I’m so proud of my little mamas girl for doing such a great job! She also melts my heart when she runs to me every day when I pick her up. She knows most colors and shapes and even letters and I am just blown away by how quickly she catches onto things.
Charlotte is just as smart as ever and continues to practice reading and writing at school and at home with mrs Billie. She is also doing great at ballet and I have noticed that she can do the dance without watching her teacher which is different from last year. Her class is more mature this year so I think that helps. She also in recent months has stopped wearing pull ups at night (which she could have been doing but I was too lazy to try) so she is really a big girl now.
This month was sort of rough in that Frances got sick several times. This was anticipated as the same thing happened to Charlotte when she started school. The first weekend of October she got the stomach bug. Then Monday Charlotte had a fever virus. Everyone was well so we went to the beach the next weekend where mommy and momsie got the bug. The next weekend Frances got a fever virus and the next she had a terrible cough and cold which we all now have. It was very exhausting and stressful but we have survived and made it though.

We also had lots and lots of fun this month despite the sickness!

The girls had picture day at school. Frances didn’t like it and screamed and cried most of the time so we went back again and she did the same thing. I’m waiting to see the proofs and hoping for the best!

Charlotte wrapped up a fun season of tennis. I am so proud of her effort and her progress!

Frances has her well check up and was just perfect. 24.4 pounds and 31 inches of cuteness.

Despite mommy getting sick we had a great time at the beach with aunt Fran and Mimi. Frances was wary of the ocean but of course Charlotte loved it.

Aunt Fran had a special tea party for Charlotte when she woke up from her nap one day. Charlotte is all about tea parties right now so this made her day!

We also had fun visiting with aunt Paula and Uncle Tom!

We went to the falls fest at owa. Frances loved the animals in the petting zoo.

While mommy was sick daddy and Charlotte went on the boat with aunt Paula and Uncle Tom and had the best time!

Charlotte really enjoyed the eura brown falls fest! She rode all the rides with Claire and I hung out with Hadley and Frances.

C had been asking us to go to red lobster and we finally went for lunch one day. The girls enjoyed endless shrimp and we had the best little day date. That night daddy went to the bama game and the girls stayed home. Charlotte laid on the couch with me eating snacks and watching the game and she said “mommy this is what princesses do!” It was so much fun.

Watts birthday party with friends at the pumpkin patch was so much fun!!!

Homecoming pizza dinner at Deborah's.   Charlotte loved playing with kaylee. They had the best time playing together.

Charlotte’s day was made when she met this cheerleader before the game!! She still talks about it.

Frances had fun saying “roll tide” at her first home game!!

We had a great time cheering on the team and seeing the new lights, until frances had a diaper disaster and we had to go home!

Hadleys costume party at the imagination place was so much fun!!

Halloween costume fashion show with aunt Paula!

Charlotte destined and daddy carved our pumpkin this year. Frances did not like the middle goo!

She did however love bob at the pumpkin contest at daddy’s office.

Monster mash week at ballet was great as usual but Charlotte’s class combined with the first grade and she was so happy to be with her friends!

Frances was pretty nervous about her first school Halloween parade u til she realized she got candy!!

I can’t believe it’s Charlotte’s last year!!

Special surprise visit from Gigi at daddy’s office!

Halloween is such a fun tradition every year! My fairies enjoyed trick or treating and pre partying with Hadley and fam!

The month was pretty rough but we ended up surviving and ending on a high note!
